So now that you’ve spent thirty days looking at the history of Christianity, what’s next? What books or videos can provide you with deeper understanding of how God has worked throughout the past two thousand years?

Well, not surprisingly, I’m a bit partial to a certain book and video series known as Christian History Made Easy.

Beyond that, there are myriads of fascinating biographies, histories, and primary source materials to help you learn more—and, in this video, my colleague Owen Strachan highlights some of the best of them.

30 Days through Church History: Day 30

With this video, the thirty days of church history are finished! If you’ve completed all thirty days, congratulations!

Obviously I’m a bit behind, but I’ve enjoyed it. Thanks for posting these.

P.S. Do you have an archive set up so that we can re-visit past posts in this series?

    Thanks!

You should be able to click the “30 days” link at the beginning of any post and it will list all of them. I, due to a few too many things going on in my life, missed five days; I will be posting those soon as well.

By the way, Elizabeth, you won the DVD series, with far more responses and interactions than anyone else! I’ll be posting details about that this week as well.

Thanks for sharing! I think I made it through all 30 days! I love to read and am grateful for the reading list! How to prioritize? LOL I love that Strachan recommended full biographies and primary source materials as opposed to more overview-type resources. While overviews have a place, they often serve to whet one’s appetite, and it’s nice to know where to go for more information. I’m looking forward to utilizing your resources more fully in the future! Thanks for the introduction!
